Dear Parents, Students, and Friends of Serpentine,

I am thrilled to extend a warm welcome to you as the proud Principal of Serpentine Primary School. At Serpentine PS, we believe in the mantra of "Little School, Big Ambition." Our close-knit community fosters an environment where every student is known, valued, and supported on their educational journey.

Serpentine PS is dedicated to achieving excellence in education. We strive for the success of each and every student, embracing a commitment to academic excellence through explicit instruction and a knowledge-rich curriculum. Our passionate educators are dedicated to inspiring a love for learning, ensuring that our students are well-prepared for the challenges of the future.

One of our key strengths lies in our Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) model. Here, we ensure that no student is left to fall through the cracks. We are committed to identifying and addressing the unique needs of each child, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all.

At Serpentine PS, we recognise the importance of a well-rounded education. In addition to our focus on academic achievement, we offer enriching specialist programs in Physical Education, The Arts, and Science.

As the Principal of Serpentine PS, I am excited about the journey ahead and the opportunities for growth and success that await each student.

Recent Whole School Achievements:

  • Grattan Report Recognition: Serpentine Primary School is proud to be the only WA Primary School selected for the Grattan Reports, 'Ending the Lesson Lottery: How to Improve Curriculum Delivery in Schools' and 'Making Time for Great Teaching: A Principals Guide'.  This prestigious acknowledgment is a testament to our outstanding commitment to whole school curriculum and resource development.

  • Fogarty EdVance Mentor School: We have been selected as a Fogarty EdVance mentor school, guiding other schools through transformative changes towards best practices in education. This recognition reflects our leadership in driving positive educational change beyond our own school community.
